Bangladesh is most vulnerable country due to adverse impacts of climate change is well recognized by the international scientific and negotiating communities. Several studies revealed that the key vulnerability contexts of Bangladesh to climate change are a) sea level rise and salinity intrusion; b) increase of drought; c) erratic behaviour of rainfall and temperature; d) changes of nature of cyclone and storm surges; e) frequency and intensity of flood. And eventually the low lying coastal belt is the most vulnerable geographical part of the country.
Bangladesh Youth Movement for Climate (BYMC) is initiated to mobilize the Bangladeshi Youth and Build the national youth alliances to take actions on Climate Change. Another aim is to engage Bangladeshi youths with the International Youth Climate Movement to empower them globally and take their voices into decision making platforms as youth are deserted in decision making process.

But Razwan nurture a dream to start youth lead volunteer movement since he was attend in 1st South Asian Youth Summit on Climate Change in Nepal at 2009. In that summit he was found that Indian and Nepalese youth are more advance to face the challenges of climate change while Bangladeshi youth are doing noting collectively to address and face difficulties.
After comeback from Nepal Razwan share his ideas and dreams with his friends. They organized different event to aware and engage young people with Climate Change issues. Razwan is one of the organizer of Bangladesh Climate Camp 2009 in Noakhali District. He got a good respond form young people which also motivate him to start youth lead voluntary youth movement in Bangladesh. Then Razwan choose British Council International Climate champion programme to establish his dream. Finally Razwan become a International Climate champion and his project Bangladesh Youth Movement for Climate (BYMC) start its journey.
